Hon’ble Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, requesting immediate repeal of the Beema Samiti’s directive on Minimum Premium Rate for Non-Tariff Insurance Business issued on 2078/06/06. A team consisting of Vice President Ganesh Karki, Secretary Balaram Khatiwada, Executive Member Uttam Bhlon Lama from IPPAN and FCAN president Ravi Singh were present in the meeting with the PM. FCAN President Singh briefed the PM of the detrimental impact of Beema Samiti’s directive may have on the energy and infrastructure development sectors.
Understanding the memorandum, Prime Minister Deuba directed his secretariat to work with the Beema Samiti to resolve the issue in a way to help all concerns.
